incorporated in 1989 and is Asia’s leading micrographics and
preservation solution provider.
MD was solely responsible for initiating the microfilming standards in
Singapore – SS 520:2006 (CP69: 1998), SS 521:2006 (CP70: 1998), SS
522:2006 (CP71: 1998) and SS 523:2006 (CP72: 1998) – Code of Practice
for microfilming 16mm/35mm technical drawings and newspapers.
MD provides a wide range of archival products and services ranging from
specialised micrographics and digitisation equipment/services to
preservation equipment / services like anoxia disinfestation treatment,
customised acid free boxes, book binding / repair, etc.
MD strongly believes in innovation and has developed a wide range
of proprietary document management software to assist digitisation /
microfilming production and end user applications that are widely used
across different industries. We design and manufacture our proprietary
COM (computer output microfilm) equipment or more commonly known as
archive writer - MD AW1Series and has established ourselves as a leading
global player.
MD is involved in newspaper micropublishing whereby newspapers in
microfilm reels are sold to end users such as libraries, research and
academic institutes globally. We are the appointed exclusive Singapore
Press Holding newspaper micropublisher.
MD’s employees are technically competent to provide professional
services to our customers. In order to remain relevant in the industry,
employees are sent overseas periodically to attend workshops and
conferences to equip them with the necessary skills and latest
technology to constantly add value to the products and services we
